For The Music Only!

After 25 years of playing music live across this country, I found a few common denominators: First, every musician I knew pretty much played for the love of music. Second, none of us were paid fairly for our work. Finally, most of the clubs were dingy, miserable places to play. And the club owners didn’t give a s**t about the music. So, Julie and I decided to form a not-for-profit venue to host concerts where all of the net proceeds would be paid directly to the musicians. We have created a custom designed performance space with the very best equipment in a beautiful setting. These are the organizing principles of FOR THE MUSIC ONLY. It is our dream. We support musicians of nearly every stripe and style: Jazz, classical, rock, reggae, and singer songwriters. The only mandate is that you play your music well and with heart. We hope that all of you who play music, will take advantage of our venue. We hope that all of you who love and support live music, will come on down to NEW HOPE, PA to listen, dance, enjoy, and support FOR THE MUSIC ONLY!

We are now 1 YEAR OLD, and the shows have been great! ORGANISSIMO grooved. SLO-MO rocked the house. THE HUDSON RIVER RATS amazed. CHRIS HARFORD AND THE BAND OF CHANGES not only raised the roof, they blew it right off it’s hinges, and BACKYARD TIRE FIRE brought us their mid-western honest rock and roll. And EVERY show SOLD OUT!
